New Basketball Coach...James Kane?

I think James Kane would be a great fit at FAU. A lot like Charlie Partridge he is a hometown guy that has strong recruiting ties to Florida and connections to the AAU scene in Florida. He's been at programs like VCU and now Murray State, 2 programs FAU would love to mirror as far as recent success. I see him as possibly a young college version of Spoelstra, started off as a video coordinator then became a talent developer.

If you're going to hire an assistant coach you should hire an associate head coach that has some experience at the high-major level and has been with programs that have gone to the NCAA tournament.

Hiring the third assistant from a D1 staff mainly because he's from Florida is a D2 or lower move.
